The first leg was won 2-1 by Welsh Llanelli in Sweden. Gefle were leading 1-0 and had the first game in control until the 82. minute, until Llanelli scored the two goals. I read the game reports and Gefle were better, they had 8-4 in goal chances i.eg. Gefle had also two hits at woodwork.
I think it was due to underestimation that Gefle lost and if they really want to win today, Gefle will do it. They have a hectic schedule with Allsvenskan and Cup games coming up. I don't think Gefle will travel to Wales just to show up though, I believe they'll go for the win.
Welsh league is really weak and I can't believe Llanelli is better than TNS, which had no chance against MyPa.
Gefle has best team available, apart from def. Revahl and fw. Ytterbom, who can't play due to their allergic medicine. Mf. Babupa is uncertain, he'll be tested before the game.
This odds is just good enough to bet, wouldn't take lower.

Pick: 2 Result: Pending Stake: 5/10 Odds: 5.50 Bookmaker: Paddy Power vCash: No Posted: Jul 27, 2006, 15:24
First game in this qualifier ended 2-0 to Levadia in Tallinn. Estonians deserved the victory and will most likely advance to the next round. They have IMO a superior team to Haka.
Levadia has decent players like gk. Kotenko who's playing for Estonian NT. Defender Lemasalu returned from Bryne and the whole defence line is solid. The midfield is strong in comparison with Dmitrijev,Smirnov and Vassiljev all NT. players too.
Haka has more experience playing in Europe, but their results are far from impressing. Haka has usually been beaten in 1st round allready. Levadia is an offensive team, what I've understood, so I don't think they'll just try and defend their lead. If Levadia scores first, which is quite likely, the game is killed and Levadia has a chance in even crushing Haka.
Levadia will advance with a draw and small loss, so stakes should be moderate. Odds over 5 is of good value.

Pick: 2 Result: 4-3 Stake: 7/10 Odds: 1.95 Bookmaker: Betsson SB vCash: No Posted: Jul 23, 2006, 15:43
Even if Malmö hasn't played good on the "plastic" grass, they have a much better team than Gefle. Rene Makondele who's suspended today, would be an important player to Gefle. He has been Gefle's best player this year and without him very much creativity is lost. Odds 1.9 or more for AW is value to me

Finnish Ykkönen.
This is a Helsinki derby game. PK is among the bottom teams, which is pretty expected with their material. PK's most important players are gk. McKenna and fw. Kaijasilta. The latter one is still suspended, because of the red card a couple of games ago. Kaijasilta has scored the vaste majority of PK's goals the latest seasons, so his absence is a big loss to PK today.
Atlantis has the among the best squads, maybe the best in the division, and their goal is to be promoted for Veikkausliiga this year. If they win today they will pass TP-47 and go top of the tables. Atlantis will have back all three previously suspended midfielders into this game. This is as I said a derby game, so no travelling fatigue has to be worried about, that is the case sometimes, when teams travel 600-700 km's in a bus on match day.
Odds >2.0 is of good value and should be tested.

This is IMO very fine odds for the AW. Jaro is a good home team, but today they have some injury concerns. Def. Jonas Portin and Piracaia are out, midfielders Sasa Stevic and Toni Hevonkorpi are uncertain to play. Brazilian Piracaia will be much missed in attack. He has the skills and vision which Jaro could need today.
KooTeePee had a long run with very bad results, due to bad defending mostly. Now they seem to have sorted it out, they have Tuunainen back and defended well against Lahti in latest game and won the game after a good display. The team has recently also recquired two new good players, fw. Mikko Mäkelä on loan from MyPa and mf. Toni Koskela. Koskela played for Cardiff before and he's a good work horse in midfield.
All in all, KooTeePee has without doubt the better material and I think they won't lose today, The cautious ones could take X2, but I see this odds of very good value. Odds over 3.8 should be tested.

Pick: 1 Result: 1-3 Stake: 9/10 Odds: 1.70 Bookmaker: Gamebookers vCash: No Posted: Jul 17, 2006, 06:14
This is the return home game for Sweden's and Helsingborg's golden boy Henke Larsson. Henke played for Helsingborg before his long professional career. The stadium will be absolutely packed today with 17.000 spectators. Henke played in the Swedish Cup week and a half ago, and helped HIF to a 3-1 victory at Hammarby.
The home team has some injury worries, defenders Erik Wahlstedt, Andreas Jakobsson and mf. Imal Khalili are all injured and out.
Häcken has some long time injuries, no important ones. New player Robert Mambo Mumba will make his debut in midfield.
Helsingborg is much better than Häcken in every way, maybe except in defense and I'll take the home win with large stakes. Odds 1.7 is good enough for me.

Finnish Ykkönen.
I'll try the HW with small stakes here. H-linna has started very poorly and they have a team that belongs in bottom half, but they've lately shown some improvement. H-linna has got some good inforcements like fw. Jon Poulsen, gk. Teuvo Moilanen and mf. Noam Surrier. Especially Poulsen and Moilanen of course, are good enough to play in the highest league even. H-linna will have best team available today, apart from a couple guys in the army.
Viikingit has among the best squads in series, but they haven't lived up to those standards yet. The team has also had a two weeks rest since the latest game, so they could be a bit out of form today. Viikingit will miss injured fw. John Ahlberg and one guy in the army.
No doubt Viikingit has the better team, but H-linna say they are hungry to get their first league win today and they have a chance to get it IMO. Odds 3.8 or more is worth a try.

Pick: 1 Result: 1-4 Stake: 6/10 Odds: 2.75 Bookmaker: Expekt vCash: No Posted: Jul 16, 2006, 05:49
Here we have a team, Halmstad that's been strengthend fine during the break with fwd. Magnus Arvidsson and def. Mikael Rosén. Especially Arvidsson who used to play for Halmstad before his journey to German Bundesliga will be of big importance. Halmstad's biggest problems have been poor scoring, only 3 goals in 9 games says it all.
Göteborg has on other hand lost important players during the break. Def. Karl Svensson went to Glasgow Rangers and def. Oscar Wendt to Denmark, both were key players in the defense. Ali Gerba went to Norway.
Newcomers are former IFK player fw. George Mourad from Italy and Uruguyan Alejandro Lago. Lago came as loan from Rosenborg, but he's not eligible for play yet today.
Göteborg lost at home to poor Derry 0-1 in Intertoto during the midweek, after a miserable performance. Hope that form will continue today.
I see Halmstad with a good chance in winning, at least the odds should be equal. Expekt has Göteborg as favourites, which is wrong IMO and I'll take the HW with medium stakes.

Malmö is still the much better team IMO than AIK, even if AIK is beyond them in tables atm. AIK will fall donwards as the season go by, while Malmö is certainly one of the contenders to the title. They have strengthened their allready strong squad with the new players, Brazilians fw. Junior and def. Gabriel and Finnish fw. Jonathan Johansson.
Malmö will probably start with Junior and Johansson in attack.
AIK could miss their best midfielder Boateng today, he has had much on his mind after the WC with visits to Ghana and the celebrations over there.
I'll take a medium bet with this odds, which is just good enough for me.

Atlantis is one of the best teams in league as their tables position shows, but today they will face much difficulties with their team. Atlantis has three midfielders suspended, Risto Salmi, Mikko Simula and Kimmo Tauriainen. Some other players are injured and uncertain to play. Simula and Tauriainen are key players and will be missed for sure today.
VIFK is newcomers to this league, they have started well with a safe middle position at the moment. VIFK has a decent team and they are able to beat anyone in the league if having a good day. VIFK is a well known traditional club, they won the Finnish Championship couple of times way back in time.
I haven't found info about VIFK's player situation, but it's allright to my knowlwdge.
I will go with this double bet because Atlantis is still good enough to get a draw. I have hard to see a home win due to all the absentees for Atlantis. Odds for X2 2.0 or more is good value.

Finnish Ykkönen.
TP-47 is in second place at the moment and can by winning today take back the lead from Klubi 04. TP played in Veikkausliiga last year and was one of the favourites in the division before the start. Their material is among the strongest and they should be able to fight for a promotion place to the end.
JIPPO was promoted to this league last year and is the biggest surprise so far. JIPPO's biggest asset is their good defense, they have conceded less goals than any other team along with RoPS.
The team isn't however IMO strong enough to fight for a top place to the end. JIPPO is satisfied if they can hold current position without fear for relegation battle.
TP-47 will have best team possible apart from two young defenders who were drafted recently.
JIPPO will also have best team, except for fw. Sasha Anttilainen who has the army to attend also.
TP-47 is the better team here, without a doubt. They have also had 2 days more rest than JIPPO since the latest games. JIPPO will also have to make the long travel from Joensuu to Tornio today.
The visitors are the only team without an away loss so far, but that should be broken today.
Nordicbet has very nice 1.95 for HW, which I'll take without hesitating. Odds over 1.8 for HW is value to me
